Our Christmas celebrations were dubiously festive – with bowling and arcades mixed in with Caribbean food. That said we reckon Santa could put his weight behind a few strikes and surely he directs Rudolph towards Antigua at some point?! We are now hoping for a happy and productive ’24 for all.

Well if we can’t personally be in Tatler, perhaps we’ll have to make do with our clients being in there instead ; ) We’ve recently worked on several themed product shoots for Deakin & Francis and the shots used in Tatler were created to allow the products to be centre stage. Really enjoyed popping in to see, friend of Big Helping, James Greenoff’s latest exhibition ‘Witness Marks’. We won’t try and explain his thinking, you can check that out for yourself at https://witnessmarks.photo/. But we loved that the images really caught time and made you look at everyday objects in a whole new light. Honest, beautifully shot and engaging.

2023’s Big Helping weekender took us up to Glasgow. We enjoyed the Scottish sunshine (who knew), some amazing street art, beautiful botanical gardens, a fantastic Mary Quant exhibition (true fashion trailblazer), comedy, karaoke, a whole load of steps, fine dining at The Gannet and all washed down with just the right amount of Irn-Bru and Tennants. Fun!

Our 2022 was signed off with Ryan winning far too much (much to Tim’s frustration). Here’s to hoping a lot more wins for everyone in 2023!

We kept our Big Helping trip away a touch closer to home this year. Cheltenham offered up, hot stones, cocktails, some lovely fodda, legendary dance moves, getting stuck in the mud and a few backup beers. Fun times – thanks crew ; )
